IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PRE-1978 HOUSING CONTAINING LEAD-BASED FILMS
As many of you know already know, the
EPA & the State of
Wisconsin have passed new lead laws effective
April 22, 2010 making it illegal for any non-state certified workers to work on any project containing lead-based paint. The new rule will require new methods regarding the prep work on
pre-1978 housing found to contain lead. The cost to comply with this rule will be minimal & will provide added lead hazard protection to homeowners, children & pets.
